Mike Rose, T.J. Graham impress at NC State's pro day

NC State held its pro day earlier in the week, and several Wolfpack players took the opportunity to work out in front of a bunch of NFL scouts. Jacoby Brissett, Shadrach Thornton, Mike Rose, and David Grinnage were among the players from the 2015 Wolfpack team to workout. Former State wide receiver T.J. Graham also took part in some drills as he tries to solidify another opportunity in the NFL.

Rose, who for whatever reason did not get invited to the NFL Combine, finally had his chance to show off his talents in front of scouts, and it went pretty well for him. Per Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net, Rose ran a solid 4.66 40-yard dash (that's faster than Shad!) and did a lot of linebacker drills. Rose met with a half dozen teams, including the Broncos and Chargers.

Graham, not surprisingly, impressed with his speed. Pauline again:

Former NFL receiver and Wolfpack alum T.J. Graham, who last played with the Buffalo Bills, worked out for scouts yesterday and ran 4.3 seconds in the 40. I'm told during passing drills quarterback Jacoby Brissett tried to impress with his arm strength by purposely overthrowing Graham to no avail, as the speedy receiver quickly ran down the ball.

Graham appeared in only four games with the Saints in 2015, making four receptions for 24 yards.
