The 3rd #goacc ToC: Amazing Second Round

The best of the best (worst?) have been selected after a rigorous process by the selection committee. Now it's up to you to help determine the #goacc champion of the season.

Moving on to the Amazing Regional, some facts about the first round: this regional featured some MUCH closer matchups, with one escaping by literally a couple of votes. There were also a couple of more upsets here as well, but some strong performances by the top seeds as well. A good mix of results, all in all. So what will we see in the second round? That's up to y'all! Remember, the voting area is up here at the top, so scroll down to review the matchups, then return up here to vote, and also use the Storystream links on the right to vote in the other regionals!

THE AMAZING REGIONAL SECOND ROUND

9. Clemson's academic excellence tweet contains a grammatical error

When your graphic about academic excellence includes a grammatical error, #goacc http://pic.twitter.com/hGG5Mpfmry

Ol' drunk UNC fan waltzed his way down through the first round with ease, and honestly, will likely have no issue taking care of this hilarious Clemson error. I would be stunned if this is anything other than a romp. Let's move on.

4. Miami Football's weird photoshoot

5. Frank Beamer called ECU an exhibition game opponent after they lost to ECU

Still not as embarrassing as never winning the Coastal. http://pic.twitter.com/w8WJacuO1S

Frank Beamer said playing East Carolina was an exhibition game http://t.co/U1b8dNlJYT

Beamer, our favorite #goacc legend, escaped the first round by literally 1 vote. That's it. Whenever he needs a win, he just pulls the magic out of his hat, apparently. Will he be able to continue that magic here in the second round? This is a strong four seed he's up against...I'm not sure he can pull this one off, but if there's one thing I've learned...never doubt Frank Beamer's #goacc prowess.

3. Coach K's "Amazing" press conference

vs

6. The U's twitter account tweeted "BEAT MIAMI"

At least their wish came true? http://t.co/ZXwXyPo3MI http://pic.twitter.com/gERVahMgSo

— Jim Weber (@JimMWeber) October 11, 2015

Coach K had no issues dispatching his foe in the first round with his "Amazing" performance. The six seed here also featured a really strong first round victory, so this should be a close one, right? Wrong. I feel like Coach K is going to blow out Miami here. Shame the U got slotted here, felt like this entry could make a bit of a deeper run.

2. The Boston College vs Wake Forest Game

vs

10. Chris Corchiani Jr. listed as "Player to Watch"

Methinks it's going to take a monumental effort from State's apparent player to watch to beat this titanic two seed. Sidenote, maybe ESPN was on to something listing Corch Jr. as the player to watch, because SEEMINGLY EVERYONE IS LEAVING.
