NC State is back off of a bye week with a pair of losing streaks to end: the two-game skid the Pack has this season, and the one they've had in Winston-Salem since a real long time ago. If the Wolfpack doesn't come out looking rejuvenated against an undermanned Wake Forest team on Saturday afternoon, it may be time to turn the Worry Dial up a notch or seven. (But first remember to be certain your Worry Dial is properly calibrated.)
Let's hope it doesn't get to that point, and really it shouldn't, but this series has been odd, especially when Winston-Salem has been involved. NC State blew out Wake Forest in each of the schools' last three meetings in Raleigh, yet when the venue changes, the Wolfpack seems to forget how to football effectively.
Please let this stop. Oh please dear sweet baby football Jesus let this stop.
