NC State returns to action Saturday night, same bat time, same bat non-channel. The Wolfpack will close out its brief early-season homestand with Eastern Kentucky, a team that is ranked in the current FCS top 25. The Colonels will provide a different challenge for the Pack, since they figure to be more inclined to run the ball.
And well they should be with such a talented running back, plus a quarterback whose decision-making skills have been lacking. Running back Dy'Shawn Mobley could be a problem for the Pack, but it's difficult to see Eastern Kentucky pulling out this game without an unusually good evening throwing the ball by QB Bennie Coney. I don't think Coney has it in him.
