NC State rounds out its non-conference slate on Saturday night in Mobile, and so far so good. Hopefully the game at Old Dominion was suitable preparation for what's to come at South Alabama, at least in terms of the road environment. It's odd to have to weather a couple of road games against mid-majors in a single season, and while we've been given little to worry about thus far, it's difficult not to worry.
South Alabama has some legit players--certainly more talent than Old Dominion or Troy--and it's hard not to worry about drama striking sooner than later. Like we're due. This is obviously ridiculous--it's not like teams enter a season with a set quantity of DRAMA they have to face; there could damn well be none for the entirety of the season.
You know what, there probably will be none, because we have Jaylen Samuels. Some other guys, too, but mainly Jaylen Samuels.
Anyway, the hunt for NC State games on television pretty much ends with this week. State-USA will air nationally on ESPNEWS. The details:
