ACC's 2015-16 men's basketball schedule released

A little later than usual perhaps, but the complete ACC men's basketball schedule is here. Some tip times and TV info remain TBA. NC State will open its conference slate on Saturday, Jan. 2, at Virginia Tech. The Wolfpack host a trio of big home games that month: Louisville, Duke, and Miami. The Pack's also got a road trip to UNC in that first month

Here is the entire schedule for NC State:

JANUARY

Saturday, Jan. 2 at Virginia Tech * Blacksburg, Va. TBA TBA
Thursday, Jan. 7 LOUISVILLE * PNC Arena 7 p.m. ESPN/2

Saturday, Feb. 27 at Syracuse * Syracuse, N.Y. TBA TBA

MARCH

Wednesday, March 2 BOSTON COLLEGE * PNC Arena TBA TBA
Saturday, March 5 at Notre Dame * Notre Dame, Ind. 12 p.m. CBS

All in all, this looks like a manageable slate. The toughest stretch may be the one beginning with Louisville on Jan. 7 and ending with Duke on Jan. 23. Road games at Wake and Pittsburgh won't be easy, and Florida State should be improved. State figures to be the underdog in at least three of the six games during that period of time. It'll be a good opportunity to pick up quality wins, and also an important segment for avoiding an early hole.
