Omer Yurtseven commitment gives NC State a top-20 recruiting class

Fortunes move quickly in college basketball these days. (That was not a John Calipari joke but feel free to go with it.) It wasn't too long ago we were scared mention-less about NC State's prospects this season. In a handful of days, that's changed.

The Wolfpack had a quiet recruiting cycle but nonetheless a good cycle, which is how it can go sometimes. Some kids will wait until the tail end of the process to make a decision (and they should), though that's generally not the most satisfying approach to recruiting from a fan's standpoint.

Or at least that's what I've been told. I don't pay attention to sports like you silly kids do. (Baseball team's real good, basketball team is fine, we have Jaylen Samuels.) Never seen the sports. Don't know what anyone is discussing at this current time.

Fine, that's a lie.

The basketball team is probably in decent shape, and it has a top-20 recruiting class with the addition of Omer Yurtseven. NC State has been able to address multiple needs, the first of those obviously being a depressing lack of hope. But we showed them. And there will be a Revenge Tour. Oh yes, there will be a Revenge Tour.
