NC State wrestling 20-0 after road wins against No. 16 Pittsburgh and West Virginia

NC State's wrestling team continued its historic season with back-to-back road wins over the weekend to give it 20 wins on the season. That's the highest win total in school history, and these guys aren't even close to being done yet. The Wolfpack beat ACC foe Pittsburgh 28-6 on Saturday, then downed West Virginia 24-9 on Sunday. Pittsburgh is the latest top-20 team to prove little trouble for State.

Heavyweight Nick Gwiazdowski picked up his 100th win at NC State on Sunday afternoon. The two-time national champion continues to be the best closer in college wrestling. (His weight class tends to go last in a dual, I've noticed.)

NC State is now 4-0 in the ACC, with a trio of wins against top-20 teams, all of which have been relatively easy. State has outscored ACC opponents 125-30, which is an average score of 31-8. They are destroying this league.

The Wolfpack will close out the regular season with matches against No. 11 Nebraska (in Lincoln), No. 10 Virginia Tech, and No. 5 Missouri. Those teams should all be very afraid. It's a bold new world, y'all.
