The #goacc Moment of the Week (11/7/2016)

The weekly in-depth look at the best (worst?) moments in ACC schadenfreude.

Not much happening in the way of #goacc this week, folks, so we’ve got a bit of a shorter lineup than usual. That being said, there are still some ridiculous entries this week, so by no means is this vote any easier. Last week’s winner, the FSU fan getting hilarious revenge after trying to do the right thing, won in an absolute landslide (understandably so). Not sure we’ll see quite that margin of victory this week, but I’m pretty sure I know who is going to win, lol. We’ve also got a tremendously bad #suregrin winner, one of my favorite photoshops ever, and of course, some wisdom from the world of wrasslin’. Let’s get right down to this vote, y’all. Which is your #goacc Moment of the Week? Vote below!

1. Let’s check in on Philip Rivers and....welp.

(h/t @CauldronICYMI).

Reminder: Phil Rivers is an NFL QB (it was incomplete) http://pic.twitter.com/mWjAXxp7q2

Pretty amazing this didn’t end in a turnover, honestly.

2. ESPNU’s disastrous broadcast of the FSU-NC State game.

(h/t @hhuntley17).

I was one of the few lucky ones that didn’t experience this nonsense as I was at the game, but following many of you on twitter indicated that there was a whole lot of technical difficulties. One such example, as evidenced from the screen grab above was some severe "audio difficulties." I wasn’t able to find any actual audio of this, but if any of you have it post it in the comments below.

3. Here’s a guy playing bass in a wolf head at a tailgate.

(h/t @WillBrinson).

Now this is how you tailgate http://pic.twitter.com/eYjgxkoUaH

I mean, anytime you can throw on a wolf head and jam out playing the bass, you’ve got to do it.

4. Guy gets caught on the Jumbotron unexpectedly, drops an "oh shit."

When you slide in the DMs and then immediately regret it #goacc https://t.co/TTJthmEGPN

These are my favorite types of Jumbotron moments, lol.

5. Russell Wilson and Ciara dance while wearing Obama and Hillary masks...because...oh hell who knows.

The Things Bill & Michelle teach you! @WhiteHouse #JuJuOnThatBeat

Russell Wilson remains the weirdest. Good lord.

the #suregrin award.

No question, this week’s runaway winner of the #suregrin award goes out to the Steelers kicker, who attempted easily the worst onsides kick in NFL history. Just look at this:

Charlie Brown has never kicked a football in his life, and I guarantee you he would’ve kicked a better onsides kick than this. Good grief.

The best photoshop of the week!

If you didn’t catch what Cam Newton was wearing after the Panthers win over the Rams, he looked unbelievably like the Undertaker. Thankfully, someone photoshopped Cam with Paul Bearer:

REST IN PEACE

And now, for your moment of wrasslin’...

THE JIM ROSS BAH GAWD MOMENT OF THE WEEK!!

Suplexes seem to be the in tackle these days, and one unfortunate Georgia Tech player felt the brunt of one. Without further ado, take it away, JR!

GT player gets suplexed, as called by Jim Ross!! (original vine by @ArmstrongABC11) https://t.co/R3asi7pkXU

See y’all next week!
