Winnable game? Winnable game.
NC State is hoping to get bowl eligible this weekend and the Pack has a great chance to get there against an up-and-down Miami Hurricanes team. The Hurricanes are only a field goal favorite to win, according to Vegas Insider.
Miami started the year hot, winning its first four games, but then proceeded to lose its next four, putting the ‘Canes once again well outside of the Coastal Division title picture. Miami still ain’t cooperating with that whole plan to put the ‘Canes and FSU in opposite divisions.
The Hurricanes have looked better over the last couple of weeks, with decisive wins over Pittsburgh and Virginia. During their losing streak, the Hurricanes had trouble scoring points (sounds familiar, doesn’t it), so maybe they’re getting past those issues. Or maybe it’s just the competition.
NC State is probably going to have its hands full regardless, though. Curse this league and its endless parade of quality quarterbacks that we have to play against!
