All the football that’s fit to be played and more.
There are not a lot of great matchups on paper this weekend, though it seems like these weeks always end up being surprisingly entertaining. There are a couple of games between top 10 teams: Alabama-Tennessee at 3:30 and Ohio State-Wisconsin in prime time.
I’m still not sure what to make of Tennessee, which has had some serious luck on its side this season. (The Texas A&M loss aside.) We gon’ see if them boys can hang with the Taaaahd.
In the ACC, Virginia Tech has to dodge the landmine with SYRACUSE written on it, and with the Hokies already 2-0 in league play, UNC-Miami might represent a division title elimination game. The Heels already need the Hokies to lose twice, and with the way VPI’s schedule sets up in November, losing any more ground would likely end whatever chances UNC had left.
In other words, go Miami.
