MCCRORY ‘ASKS’ HIS SBI TO LOOK INTO BLADEN VOTING COMPLAINT (Fayetteville Observer) -- Gov. Pat McCrory has asked the State Bureau of Investigation, which his administration oversees, to look into voting irregularities in Bladen County, according to a release from the governor's office issued Saturday. The request follows the unanimous vote by the State Board of Elections to refer the matter to the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District. It also follows, by about 60 minutes, a vote by the Board of Elections to dismiss a protest from that county.
