UNC vs. NC State college football odds: Tar Heels open as six-point favorites

To no one's surprise, NC State is the underdog against UNC this week. The Tar Heels, who have already clinched the Coastal Division, opened as a six-point favorite, per Vegas Insider. That line in some cases has moved to UNC -7 as well. It'll be a tough task for the Pack, but State's come out victorious in this situation before. (Thanks, Russell Wilson!)

NC State's going to need a great effort from its defense on Saturday to slow down what has been one of the country's best offenses. The Tar Heels average 7.4 yards per play, which is second only to Baylor among FBS teams. The Heels have a diverse, experienced attack: a senior quarterback, a stud running back, and a deep group of playmakers at wide receiver.

But with all that said, we have Jaylen Samuels, and they do not have Jaylen Samuels. And the Wolfpack should be able to score on UNC's defense, which has improved from its godawful state of a year ago, but still isn't exceptional. I, for one, would be fine with a good old fashioned shootout.

In conclusion, go to hell, Carolina. (Have to start the week off on the right foot, everybody.)
