NC State right tackle Will Richardson reinstated after serving one-game suspension

Offensive lineman Will Richardson is back in good standing with the NC State football team. Richardson was arrested on Halloween and charged with driving while intoxicated, and was suspended "indefinitely" by head coach Dave Doeren. That turned out to be a one-game suspension.

Doeren says Tocho has been cleared to play this week & Richardson will have a chance to earn his way back into the lineup.

(Great news about Jack, by the way. He did not make the trip to BC and I know this because I noticed that he tweeted during the game. #sources)

I don't want to go too far speculating on the Richardson matter, but to me the brevity of the suspension suggests that Richardson wasn't over the legal limit when he was arrested, but rather was nabbed for drinking while underage. NC State hasn't clarified that one way or the other.

Doeren also had good things to say about Richardson's replacement, Tyler Jones, who got pressed into action against one of the country's best defensive fronts. He definitely had a solid game, because we didn't hear about him much.
