NC State releases spring depth chart for the Wolfpack offense

No big surprises here, but a few tweaks.

Spring practice is underway for NC State, with the spring game a month away. Yay brief football interlude! The school released State’s spring depth chart for the offense on Wednesday morning, and you can see it here, but in case you don’t want to spend a half hour scrolling down that page, I’ve listed the full depth chart below.

Some various notes:

— Italics indicate players that are recovering from an injury. Thus certain players (Reggie Gallaspy, Johnny Frasier, Thad Moss) showing up farther down the depth chart than they will be come fall.

— Nyheim Hines is a full-time running back now, and I am completely in favor of this move, since he can be lethal out of that spot in a number of different ways. A Gallaspy/Hines tandem this fall would be pretty solid, I suspect.

— NC State’s coaches are still sorting things out at center. Tony Adams is listed as a potential starter at center as well as his traditional spot at left guard. Ideally, I think, State would like to keep Adams at guard, but it’ll depend on how Garrett Bradbury takes to the center spot.

-- We have Jaylen Samuels.

— JuMichael Ramos, who redshirted last season because of injury, should be full go by the fall but is being limited this spring. He could be a significant boost to what is suddenly looking like a strong group of wide receivers.
