Yeah, we’ll still be watching it anyway.
This day doesn’t hold quite the same excitement when NC State isn’t in the mix for an NCAA tourney bid, but even so, I’ll be watching the selection show this evening regardless. The NIT, CBI, and CIT postseason events will be making their selections as well, but given the circumstances of this season—not to mention State’s losing record—I can’t imagine the Pack will be involved with any postseason tournament.
And that is just fine by me. I think I’ll join the Wake bandwagon during the tournament. It’ll be good to see the Deacs back in the dance after such a lengthy, painful absence.
The selection show begins following the Big Ten title game and should start on time unless Michigan-Wisconsin goes for a couple of overtimes. (Don’t even think about that, pals!)
