Boston College starting freshman walk-on QB John Fadule against NC State

You know how the saying goes: if you have two quarterbacks, then you have none; if you have four quarterbacks, you have one walk-on freshman. Boston College's revolving door situation at quarterback in 2015 has led to no answers, so here are the Eagles late in the season, giving walk-on John Fadule his first career start. (Hat tip to the Boston Globe's Michael Vega.)

The freshman didn't exactly have a great game in his debut against Virginia Tech last weekend, but he was able to actually move the BC offense down the field with some throws down the field. Head coach Steve Addazio was complimentary of the effort, so it's not surprising he's going to give the kid a shot. The season's about sunk--might as well see if the kid can give your team a Daniel Evans-esque spark.

Fadule finished the Virginia Tech game 8-20 for 143 yards and an interception, but his average of 7.2 yards per attempt was excellent by 2015 Boston College standards.

Fadule's promotion doesn't guarantee he'll play all 60 minutes, though. We could see one or two other players inserted into that spot, depending how BC's offense is faring and which name Addazio happens to pull out of a hat.
