Raleigh Regional Day 3: It's a good thing NC State likes a challenge

The weather is proving one heck of a foil to this regional--first it pushed the NC State-Navy game into the wee hours of Saturday morning, then Saturday night it delayed the ending if the winner's bracket game between State and Coastal Carolina.

There is more weather ahead, which will cut the usual Sunday schedule short, so here we are, where things might get strange. But you know, that's fine, because State can use a little weirdness to shift directions. Coastal Carolina was cruising Saturday night, and when play resumes they'll have runner on first in the top of the ninth with a 3-0 lead, but [thunder clap and ominous lighting strike] do they really have that lead anymore?

We shall see. Oh, we shall see.

Schedule (all games ESPN3 only):

12:30 p.m. ET:

Conclusion of CCU vs. NCSU game; CCU leads 3-0 top of ninth

55 minutes following conclusion of CCU vs. NCSU:

Navy vs. Loser of CCU/NCSU game
