Bradley Chubb talks about his decision to return to NC State

ESPN’s Andrea Adelson caught up with NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb after his decision to return to college. Chubb talks a bit about where he wants to get better this offseason, but more interesting is the feedback he got from the NFL draft advisory board.

Chubb says he was ballparked as a second- or third-round pick, which is not exactly the big-money range (relatively speaking), but probably would be enough for a lot of guys to go ahead and commit to the draft. Chubb clearly thinks he can improve his standing with another season at NC State, and there’s no doubt that playing in the Atlantic Division provides that opportunity.

I suppose if there’s one way you can positively spin playing in this division while recruiting players, it’s that you can honestly say they’ll be going up against a lot of future pros. Prove yourself at this crucible, son!

It kinda seems like he feels disrespected, not only from the draft advisory folks, but also I think that ridiculous third-team All-ACC nod has been bothering him. For the Pack’s sake, let’s hope so.
