The Pack plays its first exhibition game on Thursday.
It’s basketball season, everybody! Well, it’s very very nearly basketball season, and given the current state of the football team, that’s close enough. NC State plays the first of two exhibition games on Thursday, and we’re a little over a week from the season-opener against Georgia Southern.
Whatever happens with this season, the bottom line is that State has some unique talent that it doesn’t often have on its roster. Go see these dudes in person while you have the opportunity. It’s the same thing I stressed to people during the Carlos Rodon/Trea Turner NC State baseball era. We got some potentially elite pros playing for us, man, go watch them do their thing as often as you can.
I think, for the first time in a while, State hoops is going to be appointment television. It’s early November, and we’re just starting. This is just starting. This is going to be a lot of fun. Game on, let’s go.
