All done!
Well shoot, this signing day stuff is easy! NC State’s letters-of-intent rolled in early this morning, and (thankfully) there were no surprises—a surprise in this case being a kid deciding at the last minute to go somewhere else.
Here is the full list of scholarship players who have signed on the dotted line officially:
LB Louis Acceus
RB Erin Collins
OT Josh Fedd-Jackson
WR Emeka Emezie
RB Nakia Robinson
WR Max Fisher
LB Isaiah Moore
DT Grant Gibson
DE Ibrahim Kante
LB Raven Saunders
OL Bryson Speas
TE Adam Boselli
DE Dante Johnson
DE Kevince Brown
DB Chris Ingram
NC State also welcomed a solid list of preferred walk-ons, including a kicker who looks 12 years old. But hey, man, if you can kick you can kick and oh god I hope you can kick.
Anyway, welcome aboard, freshmen. Grant Gibson, Emeka Emezie, and Josh Fedd-Jackson are a few names to watch going forward although all three of them are likely to redshirt this fall. Hard to see Gibson breaking into the loaded DL rotation, and State should be fine at receiver (Emezie) and OT (Fedd-Jackson) as well—but you never know.
The kids who signed today will not enroll until the summer and therefore won’t get the benefit of spring camp, which makes it more difficult to break into the two-deep come September. Doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen, it just tough to get up to speed that quickly.
