C.J. Bryce says NC State leads but his recruitment is ‘still open’

Good news, everyone!

UNC-Wilmington transfer C.J. Bryce has heard from a bunch of high-major programs since he opted to transfer out. For now, at least, NC State is at the top of his list thanks to his relationship with Kevin Keatts.

"NC State is at the top of my list because of Coach (Kevin) Keatts, but I'm still open," Bryce told Goodman. He also said he isn’t completely sure that he’ll visit Raleigh this weekend.

It probably won’t be easy for Keatts to land his former star guard considering the other teams that have expressed interest: Gonzaga, Wake Forest, Maryland, Texas, Miami, Purdue, Virginia, South Carolina etc.

Bryce averaged 17.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game as a sophomore last season, leading the Seahawks to the first round of the NCAA tournament, where they lost a close one to Virginia.

After sitting out the 2017-18 season, Bryce will have two years of eligibility remaining.
